Norwegian and U.S. service members enhance proficiency through winter warfare training | dvids

U.S. Air Force 352nd Special Operations Wing service members traveled to Banak Air Station in Norway for a joint training exercise. Cold-weather training was conducted, including live-fire training and infiltration and extraction. The U.S. and NATO allies have been working to enhance air mobility in the colder, Arctic regions with the recent training taking more steps to achieve this goal. Training in the harsh conditions also allowed the 352nd SOW to focus on being able to complete both everyday tasks and the mission in cold weather.
