Remember the world’s strongest man? In more recent news, Martins Licis, named world’s strongest man in 2019, lifted Rob Gronkowski over his head. Licis overhead squatted Gronk at Unbreakable Performance, an elite training studio on the Sunset Strip. After retiring from the New England Patriots, Gronk weighs about 245 pounds. Lifting far more than 245 pounds before, Licis weighs about 331 pounds. Sounds easy to lift Gronk than, right? Not exactly. Human weight is not evenly distributed. Not only that, but Gronk needs to be put down relatively gently. In pictures, viewers can see that Licis is concentrating on not injuring Gronk, while Gronk is realizing that he has never been lifted like this before.
