A mountain team in the 10th Special Forces Group (A) trained in annual mountain qualifications from October to December in the wilderness of Montana and Colorado. With each Special Forces team specializing in a different field, the soldiers are required to re-qualify each year. The training kicked off with basic mountaineering tasks such as ice climbing, skiing, and high-angle rescues. They have been on 12 deployments to Afghanistan within the past two years, making their training here in the States all the more important.
