While in a remote location in Colorado, the Special Operations commander who oversaw the raid that killed Osama bin-Laden, wrote a letter to the Washington Post on the audacity of Trump to revoke former CIA Director John Brennan’s security clearance. Retired US Navy Adm. William McRaven wrote on his belief that the move was shallow, dangerous, and an attack against those who had served their country. Normally, senior officials are allowed to keep their security clearance after they leave their government job in order to help them find a job in the civilian world.
