National Guard, seeking more Rangers, looks to Fort Benning training units for prospects | DVIDs

One of the toughest military schools is looking for more recruits to take on the challenge of going through the course. The last Ranger school course started out with 283 candidates, but after the two month long grueling training only 122 made it through to graduate. An unusual factor in the graduation was that six of the graduates had just finished their basic training and were recruited from National Guard units. Normally a prospect going through the course already has several years of military experience, but the National Guard has been looking through units going through basic training in order to find more possible recruits.
