An aggressive Turkey is raising risks of conflict in the Mediterranean Sea | Forbes

Over the past year with little media coverage, Turkey has strengthened their Navy and grabbed up a large chunk of the Mediterranean. Using gray-zone tactics eerily similar to those used by China, Turkey has been signaling a possible shift in the normal workings of the waterway and surrounding areas. The country also recently made a land-grab when an agreement was made with Libya that greatly benefited only one side. A threat has also been made to the U.S. and UN to close down Incirlik Air Base and a radar station.
