A new weapon in the form of U.S. Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Ramon Colon-Lopez will be working with the Department of Defense in a new way. The first Air Force and Hispanic leader, Colon-Lopez is assuming the duties of the senior enlisted advisor for the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. His leadership and heroic efforts in Afghanistan can be seen at the Air Force museum at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, and he participated in efforts throughout Africa. He expects the best from his troops, but they get his best in return.
