U.S. warplanes on Beijing’s radar in South China Sea, American Air Force chiefs say | South China Morning Post

The U.S. Air Force has recently been conducting important flight activities in the South China Sea despite receiving much media attention. Commander of US Pacific Air Forces, General Charles Brown has commented that U.S. bombers, U-2 reconnaissance aircraft, and drones regularly fly over the disputed waters. The aircraft are often deployed alongside P-3/P-8 anti-submarine planes and have been attracting attention from China. “We do hear about it because we do get calls from the PRC (People’s Republic of China),” commented Brown.
