Army 3-star general loses rank after war college plagiarism revealed | Military.com

A watchdog investigation has uncovered a plagiarized paper done by Lt. Gen. Aundre Piggee while he attended the Army War College in PA. He has retired as a major general after the college revoked his strategic military master’s degree. Piggee has declined to comment on the matter, but an official claims he was already planning to retire. His service in the military includes deployments to Iraq, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Saudi Arabia. This is the second high-profile case where the Army War College has revoked a master’s degree; the first was in 2014 with Sen. John Walsh.
