3rd Special Forces group (Airborne) hero commemorated at Rogers High School | DVIDS

Rogers High School held a ceremony and recently unveiled a stone statue of Staff Sgt. Ronald Shurer inscribed with the words “Duty, Honor, and Country.” A Medal of Honor recipient and a 3rd Special Forces Group veteran, Shurer commented on how excited he was to return to his high school and have the opportunity to encourage others. Many students shared their enthusiasm for having the chance to speak with someone who gave his all for his country.
