Air Force identifies pilots killed in Vance aviation mishap | Air Force Times

Lt. Col. John “Matt” Kincade and 2nd Lt. Travis B. Wilkie were killed on November 21st at the Vance Air Force base during a T-38C Talon training mission. An incident occurred during the landing of the aircraft, with the deceased pilots in the same Talon. The other airmen in a separate Talon were unharmed. Released footage showed Kincade and Wilkie’s aircraft upside down and to the side of the tarmac. Kincade is survived by his wife and two sons, and Wilkie, who graduated from the Air Force Academy in 2018 is survived by his wife.
