Best trips for 2020, according to National Geographic | CNN

Must Read

National Geographic announces their list of ‘best trips’ for 2020. Are you looking to expand your horizons by going on a ‘transformative’ trip? National Geographic worked with their best editors all over the world, as well as with passionate explorers, photographers and travelers. The list has four categories based on theme and interest, and includes a couple recommendations for new travelers looking to transform their experiences. The categories are Adventure, Culture, City, and Nature. Foodies could find themselves drinking wine from Mendoza, Argentina, and eating fabada stew from Asturias, Spain or fresh parmesan cheese from Parma, Italy. Nature lovers could see the home of the largest, roaming population of bison in Poland. History buffs could explore through Guatemala to learn about Mayan heritage, or go to Turkey and Egypt to see some of the oldest architecture in the world. There’s a destination for anyone.
