Germany arrests man in Berlin for allegedly planning attack | Star Tribune

German special forces arrested a 26-year-old Syrian man on the 19th for suspected mass attack plans. U.S. officials had received intel saying he was planning attacks to kill as many people as he could. The suspect had internet search history showing bomb making and participated in online chats about his attack strategy. No comment has been made on where the tip came from or how it was established; however, everyone was proud of the collaboration and work done by the U.S. and German special forces. It was also released that the suspect had been under surveillance for several months and worked at an elementary school as a cleaner.
