Want to be an Army battalion commander? You’ll need your head examined | Stars and Stripes

Lieutenant colonels will now have to be evaluated through a psychological exam in order to become battalion commanders. Starting at the beginning of 2020, soldiers will be sent to Fort Knox for the Battalion Commander Assessment Program. Testing will include a physical test, writing test, and be assessed by a behavioral psychologist and other officers in order to pass.
