In 2012 Mona Sabet discovered Hipower, a nonprofit made up of female executives who hold conferences and workshops on business development. During her first year, there were a total of ten women on the team. Sabet says that everyone was focused, and accomplishments abounded. Eventually the program reached 15 participants, and then hit 18. Once the number 18 was reached, she noticed a decline in personal effort throughout the group and members seemed less willing to push themselves. After this experience, Hipower no longer has a group exceed 15 members. Sabet believes that 15 is the maximum amount of people a group should contain in order to boost productivity.
