The Georgian Institute for Security Policy interviewed Eitvydas Bajarunas, Ambassador-at-Large for Hybrid Threats, on his countries experience with dealing with foreign hybrid warfare threats. Hybrid warfare are coordinated attacks that go after different forms of society, such as information warfare and cyber-attacks. The first method to prepare for these Russian confrontations is to do your national homework. This includes threat assessment, coordination, and the resilience your society has to these attacks. A uniform understanding of hybrid warfare is also necessary. While the tactics used in the attacks are familiar, the new combination of the methods is a recently developed strategy.
