Estonia special forces to join France-led Takuba mission in Mali, defense ministry says | The Defense Post

The new French Task Force Takuba in the Sahel is gaining new members from Estonia in the form of special forces. Parliament recently approved for troops to deploy to Mali, raising the number involved to 95, in mid-2020. Nearly a dozen other European countries have shown interest in being a part of the task force, but specifics have not yet been confirmed. A U.S. speaker for the Africa Command said the U.S. is not considering troop deployment but will continue to support France and their movement.
