The latest installment in the Terminator series, Terminator: Dark Fate, has just been released. Scott Mendelson has ranked each movie from worst to best, claiming that most viewers will agree with his list. Starting out the record in the worst position is Terminator: Genesis. This film took old characters we knew and loved and completely destroyed them with terrible casting and forced, overused stereotypes. Next on the list is Terminator: Salvation. This sequel starts out strong but quickly dies off once all the leads come together. Mendelson says the flick loses its momentum and becomes confusing without enough character development. New release Terminator: Dark Fate takes the third spot in the middle of the list. Politically correct forced casting and strict franchise autopilot landed the anticipated film in the bottom half of the record. Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines takes position number four, followed by The Terminator. The award of best movie in the series goes to Terminator 2: Judgement Day, with Mendelson citing exceptional cinematic success and groundbreaking CGI as the reasons for the second film winning spot number one.
