The California-based Naval Special Warfare Command has seen its share of recent scandals, the latest in the series involving service members getting arrested in Okinawa for causing a ruckus at local taverns. At least three sailors, one who was shirtless, demanded information about a “strip bar” and four service members were reported as being “out of control” in a restaurant where they threw objects around the room. One of the sailors even trespassed on private property and was chased down while the other three were being apprehended. One of the charges stated that service members obstructed police duties by pounding on a patrol car. The spokesman of Okinawa only commented that the Navy is fully cooperating with the investigation. The names and ages of the arrested members were released by Okinawa police.
