Defence Ministers of Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, and Slovenia signed a Memorandum of Understanding and are currently establishing R-SOCC, a Regional Special Operations Component Command. Hungary will lead the four allies to effectively improve their ability to employ special forces. The NATO Deputy Secretary General noted that this initiative will be vital in strengthening regional special forces who can act as a highly versatile tool.
