Member of the Democratic National Committee and superdelegate, Elaine Kamarck, suggests that retired Admiral William McRaven could be a potential good candidate for the 2020 election. As someone who oversaw the raid against Osama Bin Laden, McRaven might be a “good move.” In a recent NY Times op-ed article, McRaven mentions “assaults on our institutions and includes comments about how the US abandoned allies on the battlefield. While Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden have raised concerns about their health and age, Elizabeth Warren may be too liberal to take votes from Trump. McRaven, along with Hillary Clinton and Michael Bloomberg, may just add to the pool of possible candidates.
