Cumberland internship program could help troops become teachers | Fay Observer

Special operations troops leaving the force can now participate in internships with Cumberland County Schools to see if they want to pursue teaching. The US Special Operations Command partnered with the schools to allows troops to serve up to 179 days in internships. Interns can also try other positions like teaching assistant, heating and air conditioning workers, and transportation staff members. The initiative is part of the Warrior Care Internship Program intended to provide assistance to injured special operations members.
