The Army Cyber Command is fighting disinformation more and more, but their missions are sometimes too centralized, according to leadership. The aim is to implement message release authority and shift leaders so that juniors can adopt more responsibility. With senior leaders able to serve elsewhere and focus on greater threats, broad tasks can be handled by lower ranking members and productivity can increase. While there are risks to moving authority around, the command believes it’s now or never.
