Owner of 2 defense firms gets 3 years for defrauding DoD | Military Times

Roger Sobrado of Marlton, accused of defrauding the U.S. Department of Defense, illegally sharing sensitive technical information and failing to pay taxes, has been sentenced to three years of supervised release and more than $8 million in restitution.  Sobrado’s defense contracting firms supplied parts and equipment for fighter jets, parts that ultimately did not conform to proper specifications or were not as described.

He pled guilty to conspiracy to commit wire fraud, conspiracy to violate the Arms Export Control Act and tax evasion.
