Josh Griffin is a staff sergeant who has spent most of his 13 years in the Army working in special operations.  He has supported Green Berets and Rangers on missions he’s not allowed to talk about.  He has seen combat in Afghanistan and Iraq.  He’s also the oldest player on a major college football team in the country this year, nearly 33 years old and beginning his second year at Colorado State.
