The Afghan Special Forces stormed a Taliban prison in western Farah province and rescued at least 13 people who were kept as hostages. The Special Forces stormed the prison belonging to Saifullah, a Taliban commander in charge of 50 militants and the group’s shadow intelligence chief. Furthermore, the National Directorate of Security said the Special Forces rescued 13 people from the prison. The Special Forces also arrested a Taliban militant during the same operation, the National Directorate of Security added.
