The security forces killed, wounded at least 28 Taliban militants during the operations in Balkh province.

The 209th Shaheen Corps said in a statement that the security forces conducted the operations in Kushenda, Chahar Bolak and Chemtal districts.

The statement further added that the security forces killed 16 Taliban militants and wounded 12 others during the operations.

Furthermore, the 209th Shaheen Corps said the security forces also arrested 9 Taliban militants during the same operations.

The Taliban group has not commented regarding the operations so far.
