Dozens of Navy SEALs swam across the Hudson River to support military veterans and their families on Saturday.
More than 30 swimmers started at Liberty State Park and swam all the way to Battery Park in Manhattan in over two and a half hours.
Former Navy SEALs like MMA fighter Mitch Aguir and actor Remi Adeleke from “Transformers: The Last Knight” took part in the event.
They swam to benefit the GI Go Fund, a nonprofit that helps veterans.
Jack Fanous, CEO of the organization, says the SEALs made stops at Ellis Island and the 9/11 Memorial along the way.
Saturday’s event marked the first-ever legally sanctioned swim across the Hudson River.
