Two Louisiana teenagers are charged as adults in the shooting death of an airman who was stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base.
News outlets report 18-year-old Jareona Crosby and 15-year-old Alonzo Wilson, both of Bossier City, were indicted Dec. 10 for second-degree murder in the slaying of 30-year-old Air Force Technical Sgt. Joshua Kidd.
Kidd, of Moneta, Virginia, was killed Sept. 25 by a gunshot to the chest after interrupting a vehicle burglary at his Bossier City home.
The airman served as a loading standardization crew chief with the 2nd Maintenance Group. He joined the Air Force in March 2008 and had previously been stationed at Osan Air Base, South Korea, and Spangdahlem Air Base, Germany.
