SAS: Who Dares Wins star Ant Middleton joined thousands of forces families for Party In The Park in Catterick and took the time to speak to Forces Radio BFBS about his admiration for serving personnel.
The former sniper spent four years with the Special Boat Service before appearing as Chief Instructor on the Channel 4 series where former Special Forces soldiers put recruits through a recreation of the SAS selection process.
The TV presenter posed for selfies, chatted to members of the public and showed his support for today’s Armed Forces.
“… they do so much more than protect us you know. They’re here from a humanitarian point of view.
“They’re out there helping to save lives in this country whether it be a conflict, a disaster or just an exercise that they’re on.
