The Special Forces Association of Rhode Island will hold its annual bowling fundraiser at Old Mountain Lanes this weekend.
Established in 1964, the Special Forces Association (SFA) is a non-profit organization of current and retired U.S. Army Special Forces Soldiers—or “Green Berets”—with 84 chapters across the United States and a handful of other countries.
“It’s arguably the most robust regimental association in the army,” explained Chris Callan, a member of SFA chapter 48, based in Rhode Island.
