Fight between special operations troops leaves one soldier dead | Army Times

Fort Bragg, North Carolina, soldier was killed Wednesday night following a fight with another soldier at a private residence in Fayetteville, an Army spokesman has confirmed to Army Times.

Just after 5:30 p.m., Cumberland County officials got a call about a shooting in the Brookshire neighborhood, according to a release from the sheriff’s department.

They pronounced Sgt. 1st Class Mark Leshikar, 33, dead at the scene.

Homicide detectives spoke to residents, according to the release, but no arrests have been made.
