The retired Navy admiral who commanded the raid leading to Osama bin Laden’s death, and who gave the famous “Make your bed if you want to change the world” graduation address, is coming to speak at the College of Charleston in November.

Retired U.S. Navy Adm. William H. McRaven will be the keynote speaker of the College of Charleston Friends of the Library’s Winthrop Roundtable event at 6 p.m. on Nov. 1 at the Gaillard Center.

McRaven will be sharing inspirational and informative wisdom he’s gained from his life in the military and in higher education, according to CofC.
A past version of the speech given to the University of Texas graduating class of 2014 gained McRaven widespread notoriety.
