SAS founding father Jock Lewes almost became a NAZI | Daily Mail Online

One of the pioneers of the SAS was ‘dazzled’ by the Third Reich, socialised with Hitler and fell in love with a member of the Nazi party before the outbreak of the war, a new documentary reveals.

Society figure Jock Lewes, a former captain of Oxford University Boat Club, was one of two officers who became national heroes when they created the Special Air Service, a unit that helped secure an Allied victory in the Second World War.
