Special Operations: More Mystery Options For JSOC | Strategy Page

In late 2016 the United States announced that it was expanding its JSOC (Joint Special Operations Command) counter-terror operation from a regional (mainly the Middle East) to a global organization. The expanded operation will be called CEOTF (Counter-External Operations Task Force). It is believed that this will once more make JFOC a regular partner with the CIA. The new organization is supposed to make it easier to go after active or suspected terrorists anywhere in the world with minimal bureaucracy.
