British adherents of ISIS are planning to blow up the Queen this Saturday with a pressure cooker-based improvised explosive device modelled on the bomb that killed three people and wounded over 300 at the Boston Marathon, according to reports.
Sources told the Mail that ‘a specific threat’ was made against the Queen who will be leading the 70th anniversary celebrations of VJ (Victory in Japan) Day this weekend, marking the day the Second World war formally came to an end. The Japanese surrendered after atomic bombs were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
The Royal assassination plot is being orchestrated from Syria by ISIS commanders, according to the paper.
The palace does not comment on security issues, however the Royal family are known to be key high profile targets for radicals, and they are uniquely vulnerable to suicide killers due to the high number of public engagements they carry out.
