High school students from the local area visited Kingsley Field to explore military career opportunities, generating 40 leads for the recruiting office and building positive relationships with local high-school counselors.Â
On March 15, 2023, 62 high school students from the local area visited Kingsley Field to explore military career opportunities available to them. The event was organized by the 173rd Fighter Wing recruiting team and showcased career fields from every group on base, as well as the Army National Guard, Navy, and Air Force Special Forces. The event provided an opportunity for the students to interact with members of the military and learn more about the different roles and equipment used in the military. The event generated 40 leads for the recruiting office and helped build positive relationships with local high-school counselors. The recruiting team plans to host another event in the fall of 2023.
